About Us ...

Shoura for Building National Consensus (Shoura BNC) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization established in 2019. Founded by a woman and primarily run by women, Shoura BNC was created as a consultative body to enhance participatory approaches, consultation, and consensus on local priorities and emerging national issues.

The organization is committed to empowering individuals and communities, with a focus on vulnerable youth from less privileged backgrounds, helping them unlock their potential and contribute to the three pillars of sustainable development. In 2025, new management was introduced to expand and strengthen the organization’s capacity and impact.

Shoura BNC collaborates with universities, municipalities, NGOs, and private sector entities, particularly in recycling initiatives. Projects include recycling solid waste, ceramic and non-metallic mineral waste, and promoting sustainable sorting, reuse, and recycling practices.

Vision: To foster strong partnerships and dialogues among national and international organizations, contributing to the effective implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with special focus on:

Goal 5 (Gender Equality)
Goal 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions)
Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals)

Mission: To enhance participatory approaches between national and international stakeholders, ensure gender equality as a cross-cutting priority, and localize projects according to Jordan’s context. Shoura BNC emphasizes integrating gender equality effectively when delivering development services.back every few months and understood that this is a love affair for a lifetime. We fully moved here in 2018 and been exploring the island ever since. We’re excited to share what we’ve found and show you this beautiful corner of the world.

Sports Coach in swimming, fitness, and basketball.
Member of “YouSports” network for sports-based social integration.
